Wes Leavitt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and occupational health and safety. Currently a Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since January 2020, Wes previously served as a Senior Environmental Manager at Nevada Gold Mines and held multiple roles at Newmont Mining Corp, including Director of Environmental Compliance and Director of Health & Safety. Responsibilities included overseeing environmental permitting and compliance for a large mine site, as well as leading initiatives to enhance health and safety across North America operations. Wes holds a degree in Public Health with a focus on Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Utah State University, earned between 1992 and 1995.
