Fernand Ernster is the owner and CEO of ERNSTER - L'esprit livre, the major book retailer in Luxembourg with nine outlets currently. They are a member of the Conseil National du Livre since 2016. They have held leadership roles across Luxembourg business and professional organizations, including president of the House of Training (2015–2023) and president of the Luxembourg Confederation (2014–2022), as well as administrator roles at UEL (2014–2022) and APM (2019–2025) and vice president of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (2004–2023). They previously served as an elected member of the plenary assembly of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce from 1994 to 2004.
