Luke Thompson

Luke Thompson is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Lead Engineer and Chapter Lead at EROAD since January 2021, Luke is responsible for designing integrations with third parties, managing engineering teams, and overseeing the architectural design of a large-scale CANBus event ingestion system. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Vista Entertainment Solutions, where Luke focused on internet ticketing systems, and Chelmer, where Luke contributed to end-user products and client projects. Luke began a freelance career as a videographer in 2015 before obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from The University of Auckland in 2019.
