Erratic Ally is where grief, creativity, and community collide.
I create handcrafted memory bears, pillows, and keepsakes from loved ones’ clothing, giving families a tangible way to honour and hold onto their stories. Alongside this, I design custom pieces — from sewing and alterations to screen printing and creative commissions — each project carrying its own meaning.
But Erratic Ally is more than what’s made. It’s also about what’s felt. As a mental health advocate, I share my lived experience and run art therapy and learn-to-create workshops, offering safe, creative spaces for expression, resilience, and connection. At the heart of this work is my published journal, Emotions Are Erratic — a raw, practical tool for reflection and starting conversations that matter.
My goal is to shift the way we talk about mental health. It’s not just about the lows — it’s also about the everyday highs, the joy of creating, and the relief that comes from making something simply for yourself. I want to bring back the childhood happiness of creativity — painting, stitching, scribbling, or building — for no other reason than to clear the mind and make space to breathe.
Erratic Ally exists to turn emotions into something real. Whether through a bear stitched from a loved one’s shirt, a workshop sparking conversation, or a journal page filled with words too heavy to say aloud, this is my loud: a reminder that even in chaos, there’s creativity, memory, and healing.
