Michael Fernandes

Michael Fernandes currently serves as the Director of Corporate Development (M&A) at ESAB since January 2023, having previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same department. Prior to this, Michael co-founded Accelerate Industries, leading a search fund targeting acquisitions with significant EBITDA potential. At General Mills, Michael contributed to approximately $10 billion in closed transactions as an Associate Manager and was involved in strategic evaluations for market opportunities. Earlier experience includes roles at Harris Williams as a Senior Analyst and Analyst, where Michael developed financial models and authored transaction documents. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, earned in 2015.
