Scott Daubert

Sr. Director Of Global Quality at ESAB

Scott Daubert has a extensive work history with experience in various industries. Scott started their career as an Industrial Engineer at Naval Ordnance Station, where they managed rocket igniter production programs and implemented productivity improvements. Scott then worked as a Project Control Analyst at Contel Federal Systems, developing and analyzing schedules and budgets for telecom projects.

Daubert then joined GENICOM Corporation as a Manager of Relay Quality Assurance and QA Engineer, where they designed and implemented an ISO 9000 system and managed a plating operation outsourcing. Scott later transitioned to Edward D. Jones & Co as an Investment Representative, establishing their first branch office, developing a client base, and selling investment products.

Scott then moved on to McQuay International, where they served as the Unit Leader for the Centrifugal Business Unit. In this role, they built and led a team, increased daily build rates, and reduced production time and overtime.

Daubert then joined CII Technologies as the Director of Quality Assurance, overseeing quality assurance and reliability engineering activities in multiple facilities. Scott achieved ISO 9001 registration and coordinated the closing and transfer of one facility. CII Technologies was later acquired by Tyco Electronics, where Daubert continued as the Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for quality assurance, test equipment, and reliability engineering.

After their tenure at Tyco Electronics, Daubert took on the role of Director of QA North America at Victor Technologies International, Inc. and then transitioned to ESAB as the Sr. Director of Global Quality. In their current role, they lead global quality management systems and is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met worldwide.

Scott Daubert earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University from 1979 to 1983. Scott later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at James Madison University from 1988 to 1991. In addition to their degrees, Scott obtained a certification as a Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2016.
