Simon Baker

Simon Baker, ACMA, CGMA, FCMA, is a Group Accountant and Corporate Controller with over 20 years of experience in finance operations. Currently serving as Corporate Controller at ESAB Corporation, Simon oversees financial processes and compliance for the UK region within a listed US group. A qualified CIMA Fellow, Simon has a strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, and multi-currency accounting, complemented by expertise in various financial systems including SAP BPC and Microsoft Dynamics D365. Simon is also the Branch Chairman of the CIMA West Herts Branch and actively participates in professional development and local community events.
