Todd Makar

Todd Makar is an experienced professional in quality assurance and plant management, currently serving as Plant Manager at ESAB since December 2015, where the focus is on delivering high-quality aluminum MIG and TIG welding wire with exceptional customer service. Previously, Todd held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Alcotec, developing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior roles include Quality Assurance Manager and Engineer at Tripp Lite, where management of quality teams and development of electronic software for QMS were key responsibilities, as well as serving as Lead Quality Engineer for a significant project at Pentair Electronic Packaging. Todd began a career with a role as Project Engineer at Crown Holdings, contributing to training and process improvement within the R&D department. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
