William Gerald has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. William has held various positions in different companies. Their most recent role was as the Global VP, IT - Application Services at ESAB, where they oversaw global operations for IT application support and services. Prior to that, they served as the Director, IT - SAP North America and Director, IT - Integration, Acquisitions & Mergers at the same company. William also worked as an SAP Functional Lead at ESAB.

Before joining ESAB, William worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in BPCS Finance/Costing/G/L Configuration. William was responsible for converting legacy systems to a company-wide structure and streamlining financial reporting.

Their early career includes roles at ABB, where they served as an SAP ECC 6.0 Implementation Lead, leading the conversion of the ERP system. William also worked as a Purchasing Manager, IS Manager, and Continuous Improvement Manager at ABB, where they managed customs compliance, purchasing activities, and IT infrastructure support.

Throughout their career, William Gerald has demonstrated leadership skills, project management expertise, and a strong focus on driving cost savings and process improvements.

William Gerald earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Francis Marion University. William also holds additional certifications as an Internal Quality Auditor from Georgia Tech University and as a Six Sigma Black Belt from ABB Inc.
