Emily Manatan

Emily Manatan has held various roles in the beauty industry since 2008. Emily began their career as a Marketing Coordinator and Cosmetologist at Byuti Hair Therapy. In 2009, they became the Manager of Marketing and PR and a Nail Artist at The Pedicure Lounge. In 2012, they took on the role of Beauty Editor and Writer at KenetMD. In 2014, they joined eSalon as a Senior Product Development Manager, Product Development Manager, Product Development Specialist, Associate Color Manager, and Colorist. In their role as Product Development Manager, they were responsible for overseeing new product innovations including formula and packaging, maintaining the current product catalogue, and overseeing regulatory compliance for North America and Europe. Emily was also the lead on company-wide sustainability efforts.

Emily Manatan obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of San Diego between 2001 and 2006. Emily then obtained their Cosmetology License from the Vidal Sassoon Academy between 2006 and 2007. In 2011, they obtained two certifications from The Dermal Institute, Skin Analysis 101 and European Skincare Techniques. In 2017, they attended General Assembly for Digital Marketing. Finally, they obtained their Cosmetology License from the Department of Consumer Affairs in November 2007.
