Greg Nielsen

Greg Nielsen has worked in the software engineering industry since 2011. Greg began their career as a Student Web Developer at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they worked on various projects for non-profit organizations and other schools on the UNO campus. In 2013, they became the Web Manager at Christ Community Church, where they redeveloped the church's main website and created an online editing tool for the weekly newsletter. In 2014, they joined Lindsay Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they helped maintain and enhance a customer-facing software and acted as software lead on multiple projects. In 2020, they joined Omaha Public Power District as an Application Engineer, where they helped support several applications and acted as the lead of the Community team. In 2022, they joined eSalon as a Software Engineer.

Greg Nielsen attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Greg returned to the same university from 2010 to 2013, earning another Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
