Edgar Torres, PhD, serves as President & CEO of Escalate Sciences since 2010, overseeing operations in the USA, Spain, and Puerto Rico. In addition to this role, Edgar is a Scientific Collaborator at the University of Central Florida, contributing to UCF Lake Nona BI since 2022. Previously, significant experience was gained at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in various scientific and management roles from 2004 to 2006. Edgar also held a professorship at Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico from 2010 to 2020, focusing on Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Management. Edgar holds a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering, a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, graduating Cum Laude.
