David Horning

David Horning is an experienced financial services professional with over 20 years of expertise, particularly in the SaaS sector, as the Head of SaaS Practice at Escalon Services, Inc. since May 2015. With more than a decade of experience as a fractional CFO for venture-backed startups, David has successfully facilitated over $600 million in equity and debt transactions across diverse industries, including SaaS, cleantech, and biotechnology. Previous roles include providing strategic consulting for tech startups, investment responsibilities at Palo Alto Investors, and developing financial models at Washington Mutual Bank. David holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, as well as advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
