Darren Williams

Darren Williams has a long and varied work history, beginning with their role as Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Infilsec in 1994. Darren then moved on to become a Postgrad Lecturer at the Computer Science department of the University of Sydney in 1996. In 2000, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader at Dilithium Networks. In 2001, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Sensory Networks, a leading OEM provider of high performance network security acceleration technology. In 2009, they joined Freelancer.com as Non-Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, Executive Director. In 2015, they became a Non-Executive Director at Escrow.com. Finally, in 2016, they assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Willing Capital.

Darren Williams has a comprehensive educational background. Darren completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Sydney between 1996 and 2002. Darren then attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2013 and completed the Company Directors Course. In 2006, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies. Finally, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons I) in Computer Science from the University of Sydney between 1992 and 1995.
