EscrowPay is Nigeria's first WhatsApp-native escrow service

Built to make buying and selling online safe for everyone.

Across Nigeria, social commerce runs on trust that often isn't there. Buyers send money to sellers they've never met and hope the goods arrive. Sellers ship goods and hope the payment alert is real. Both sides lose to scams on one side, and fake bank alerts on the other.

EscrowPay fixes this. When a buyer pays, we hold the money securely until they confirm the goods have arrived then we release it to the seller. The buyer can't be scammed, and the seller can't be cheated by a fake alert. It all happens inside WhatsApp, with no app to download.

Every transaction is backed by real infrastructure: funds are held with a CBN-licensed bank, every buyer and seller is identity-verified, and the service is built on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API.

We process trust.
