Troy Tornow

Troy Tornow currently serves as the Superintendent for the Ellensburg School District, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Troy held various leadership positions within the Educational Service District 123 from 2016 to June 2023, including Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services. Earlier in the career, Troy was involved with the Selah School District for six years, serving as Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning, Executive Director for Teaching and Learning, and Principal. Troy's experience in education also includes serving as an Assistant Principal at South Kitsap School District from July 2008 to June 2010. Educational qualifications include a Superintendent Certificate from Washington State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Heritage University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Secondary Education from Western Washington University.
