Michael Misener

Michael Misener has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Michael started their professional journey as the Director of Program at Ontario Pioneer Camp from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they worked as a Development Coordinator at International Justice Mission Canada in 2007.

In 2011, Michael joined Bennett Jones LLP as an Associate, and in 2012, they moved to Gowling WLG as a Business Law Associate. Michael continued working in the legal field and joined Home Hardware Stores Limited as a Legal Counsel from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, Michael joined Igloo Software as a Legal Counsel and later became the Senior Legal Counsel in 2021. Michael gained experience as an Associate General Counsel at eSentire and became a Member at Counselwell, both in 2023.

Throughout their career, Michael Misener has held various legal positions, contributing to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked with.

Michael Misener obtained their Bachelor of Arts and Science with honors in History from McMaster University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Michael then pursued a Master of Arts in Adult Education with a focus on Organizational Change at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto from 1998 to 2004. Lastly, they completed a Juris Doctor degree in Law at Western University from 2007 to 2010.
