David F.

David F. is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in threat research and analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst and Cyber Threats Researcher at ESET since October 2023, David focuses on threat defense R&D, EDR rules development, and security service delivery. Previously, David worked in the public sector from May 2016 to July 2023, leading a Threat Intelligence team while conducting research, forensics, malware reverse engineering, and threat hunting. Early career roles included positions at NN Group as a Threat and Security Analyst, at Amazon in IT Support, and as a C# Developer and Researcher at Škoda Auto and FEL CTU. David holds a Bachelor's degree in IT from Czech Technical University in Prague and a Master's degree in IT from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
