Ján MacEk

Ján Macek is a skilled software developer and big data engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently at ESET since October 2019, Ján specializes in machine learning for virus detection, focusing on data flow definition and implementation. Prior experience includes a role at Deloitte from January 2018 to September 2019 as a big data engineer and consultant, where responsibilities encompassed the use of Hadoop and Spark technologies and team leadership in automation projects. From June 2014 to September 2017, Ján served as a developer and team lead at SIGNIA, concentrating on developing Document Management Solutions using the Alfresco content management system. Ján’s academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Intelligent Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology.
