Ladislav Baco

Ladislav Baco is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in malware research, threat analysis, and incident response. Currently serving as a Network Analyst at ESET since March 2022, Baco previously held significant roles including Head of Research Department at IstroSec and Director of Research and Development at LIFARS S.R.O., focusing on threat detection algorithms and malware analysis. Baco's expertise is further underscored by leadership positions at CSIRT.SK, where responsibilities included managing incident response and analysis related to cyber threats against the Slovak government. Baco also has experience as a lecturer in Digital Forensics at the University of Košice. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Comenius in Bratislava.
