Peter Dekys

Peter Dekys is a highly experienced professional in information systems security, currently serving as Vice President of Information Systems Security at ESET since March 2009, where leadership of the security services unit is emphasized. Prior to this role, Peter Dekys was Segment Manager at S&T Varias from January 2008 to February 2009, managing business segments focused on networking and security solutions. At S&T Slovakia, Peter Dekys functioned as Consultancy Group Manager from May 2001 to December 2007, overseeing a professional services organization centered on high-value consulting. Earlier experience includes work as a Networking/Security Consultant at Orga-Trade, a.s. and as a Lecturer at Slovak University of Technology from 1992 to 1998, responsible for courses related to computer science and engineering. Peter Dekys holds both a PhD and an MSc in Informatics and Computer Science from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave.
