Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith, P.E. is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at ESI Inc. of Tennessee since March 2017, following an eight-year tenure at ENERCON Services. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and earned the Professional Engineer designation in 2013. Previous internship experiences include roles at Duke Energy’s Catawba Nuclear Station and Milliken & Co., where contributions included optimizing preventative maintenance strategies and implementing cost-saving measures. Matthew is also seeking to pursue a master's degree in Project Management, reflecting a commitment to further professional development.
