Monya White

Monya White has a strong work experience in the field of software engineering and technical consulting. Monya started their career in 1998 as a Database Analyst at Cingular Wireless and worked there for four years. Monya then joined Iowa Foundation for Medical Care as a Senior Programmer in 2002 and worked there for four years as well. In 2006, Monya joined Aquilent as a Technical Consultant and worked there for nine years until 2015. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Engineering Solutions, Inc. (ESi) from 2015 to the present.

Monya White has a diverse educational background in software engineering, database technology, computer programming, and general computer knowledge. Monya obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Database Technology from Strayer University. Monya also holds a certificate in Computer Programming/Programmer, General from the Computer Learning Center. In terms of high school education, Monya attended Latta High School.

In addition to their formal education, Monya has obtained several certifications. They obtained a Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Information Technology from the University of Maryland University College in December 2011. Monya also holds certifications from Sun Microsystems, including Sun Certified Web Component Developer (obtained in 2006) and Sun Certified Java Programmer (obtained in 2002). More recently, Monya has received multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (obtained in January 2021), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (obtained in December 2020), AWS Certified Developer – Associate (obtained in October 2020), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (obtained in September 2020).
