Aurelien Chu has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they were a Co-Founder and COO at Eskwelabs, a company that is reimagining the vocational school. Aurelien also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler. In 2018, they were a Foreign Language Student at Beijing Language and Culture University. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, where they contributed to engagements with the government, private investors, and NGO's. In 2012, they were a Research Analyst at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and in 2011 they were a Finance Intern at XDx.

Aurelien Chu studied Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, earning a B.S. degree between 2009 and 2013. Aurelien also earned a B.A. in Economy from the University of California, Berkeley during the same period. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Henry M. Gunn High School. In 2018, they completed an Intensive Language Program in Beginner Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University.
