Helga Berger

Helga Berger is currently a Member of the European Court of Auditors and serves as Chair of the ESM Board of Auditors. Previously, they held various prominent positions including Director General of Budget and Public Finances at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Austria and Judge at the Regional Court of Vienna. With experience in both auditing and governmental roles, Berger has also contributed as Director General Management and Administration at the Austrian Court of Auditors and as part of the European Parliament. They are pursuing a degree in Law at Universität Graz.
