Peter Paluš serves as the Head of the Financial Unit at the Permanent Representation of Slovakia to the European Union and is a member of the Economic and Financial Committee and Euro Working Group. Their portfolio encompasses financial services, economic affairs, and EU budget coordination, among other responsibilities. They act as a deputy for the Slovak Minister of Finance at Eurogroup meetings and represent Slovakia on the Boards of Directors for the European Stability Mechanism and the European Financial Stability Facility. Peter is also the Vice President of the Centre for Financial Innovation at the Slovak Ministry of Finance and has extensive experience in financial regulation from their previous roles at the Central Bank of Slovakia and during the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Investment, Banking & Finance from the University of Economics in Bratislava and has studied at Johannes Kepler University in Austria.
