Andreas Stepnitzka

Andreas Stepnitzka is currently the Deputy Director for Regulatory Policy at the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), where they coordinate a team of policy experts on sustainable finance, distribution, investor protection, and taxation. Previously, Andreas served as a Senior Regulatory Policy Advisor at EFAMA and held roles at various institutions, including as Supervisor of Fund Operations Management at Bank Medici AG and Senior Adviser for Financial Markets at the European Association of Co-operative Banks. They began their career with internships at Magna International, Lidl Ireland, and Rollix-Defontaine, and they earned a Magister(FH) in Export-oriented Management from IMC Fachhochschule Krems. Additionally, they are an active member of the Consultative Working Group of ESMA’s Investor Protection Standing Committee.
