Jens Berger

Jens Berger is a Partner at Deloitte since August 2004, serving as the Professional Practice Director and leading the German IFRS and Corporate Reporting Centre of Excellence, while also being a member of the Global IFRS Leadership Team. Additionally, Jens has held various leadership roles at EFRAG, including Vice-Chair of the Financial Reporting Technical Experts Group and Chair of the Financial Instruments Working Group. Jens has extensive involvement in multiple committees, such as the ASCG, ESMA, and Accountancy Europe, while also contributing to the International Accounting Standards Board as a Practice Fellow. Jens holds a Dipl.-Kfm. degree from the University of Bayreuth, specializing in Corporate Taxation, Auditing, and Marketing.
