Manuela Peixe

Manuela Peixe served as the Senior Supervision of the Onsite Supervision Department at the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM) in 2017, following extensive experience as an Economist in the Market Structures and Intermediation Supervision Department from 1992 to 2014. They participated in pivotal committees and working groups on clearing and supervision at the European level, particularly with Euronext and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) from 2014 to 2016. Throughout their career, Manuela focused on oversight of financial intermediaries, market infrastructures, and financial crime investigations.
