Stephan Mögelin

Stephan Mögelin is a Lead Senior Officer at BaFin, specializing in the supervision of Financial Market Infrastructures. They began their career at BaFin in 2007, where they served as a Policy Officer and later as a Senior Officer before advancing to their current position. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Seconded National Expert at the European Central Bank, contributing to a FinTech team. Since 2025, Stephan has also been the Chair of the ESMA DLT Working Group. They hold a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) degree in Business Administration and Management from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW), which they obtained in 2005.
