Anne White

Group Lead at ESnet

Anne White is a computer systems engineer and the current group lead at ESnet, a high-performance networking organization. Anne has worked in the field for over 20 years, starting as a customer service coordinator and moving up to increasingly senior positions. Anne has worked at the San Diego Supercomputer Center for over 15 years in various roles, including support helpdesk manager, senior systems administrator, and senior desktop Linux administrator. In October 2012, they joined ESnet at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a computer systems engineer, and they have been with the organization ever since. Anne is an expert in high-performance networking and has played a key role in ESnet's efforts to build and operate some of the world's fastest research and education networks.

Anne White attended San Diego Mesa College, the University of Rochester, and Boston College High School.
