Xi Yang

Xi Yang is a Network Research Engineer at ESnet. Xi was previously the Director of R&D at Mid-Atlantic Crossroads from June 2012 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were a Computer Scientist at the University of Maryland from August 2004 to June 2012. Xi also worked at the University of Southern California - Information Sciences Institute from April 2000 to December 2000 as a Member of Technical Staff.

Xi Yang received their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Xi also holds a Master of Science in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the same school.

Xi Yang works with Ezra Kissel - Network Research Engineer, Mariam Kiran - Network Research Engineer, and Brian Tierney - Affiliate. Their manager is Eric Pouyoul, Group Lead, Acting.
