Devashish Meena

Devashish Meena has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Devashish is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Esper since February 2022. Prior to this, they were a Principal Engineer at Esper from October 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Esper, Devashish worked as a Software Architect at JFrog from March 2019 to February 2020. Devashish also has experience working at Shippable, where they served as the Director of Engineering from July 2016 to February 2019. Before that, they held the position of Technical Lead at Shippable from November 2013 to June 2016.

Devashish has also worked at Opinr as a Technical Lead from October 2012 to September 2013, and at UrbanTouch.com as a Software Engineer from November 2011 to September 2012.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at tBits Global Pvt Ltd from June 2010 to October 2011.

Devashish completed their Masters in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. During their time there, they worked on designing and developing a lightweight non-IP network layer protocol for wireless infrastructure-less environments. This protocol supported multi-hop relaying, auto configuration, self-healing, and dynamic topology with mobility for mobile platforms.

Devashish also worked on designing and implementing an auto configuration algorithm for location-based MANETs during their Masters. Devashish successfully integrated and simulated message headers, data formats, node movement, traffic generators, and other data structures using NS-2 in UNIX environment.

Devashish Meena attended Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) in Computer Science.
