Eric Hao has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Eric started their career in 1997 at Transmeta Corporation, where they worked as a Principal Engineer for seven years. In 2004, they joined P.A. Semi as a Principal Architect, contributing their expertise until 2006. Eric then joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as a Senior Hardware Manager and Senior Staff Engineer, staying with the company until 2010. From 2010 to 2017, Eric worked at Oracle as a Senior Hardware Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Hardware Manager and Senior Design Engineer at Esperanto Technologies, Inc., starting in 2018.
Eric Hao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. Eric also obtained two Bachelor's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology: one in Computer Science and another in Electrical Engineering.
