Umesh Kumar

Umesh Kumar has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Umesh is currently working as a Senior Test Lead at Espire Infolabs since September 2022.

Prior to their current role, Umesh worked at Accenture for a total of five years. Their roles at Accenture included being an Associate Manager from December 2021 to March 2023, an Automation Team Lead from December 2018 to December 2021, and a Senior Software Development Engineer Test from January 2017 to December 2018. In their role as an SDET, Umesh collaborated with the product owner to ensure high-quality product testing standards.

Before Accenture, Umesh worked at Aon Hewitt as a Senior Software Test Engineer from May 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they worked closely with the QA lead and product QA manager to meet product test requirements and developed automated regression test suites.

Prior to Aon Hewitt, Umesh gained experience as a Sr. Software Test Engineer at OCR Services Inc. from May 2012 to April 2015. Here, they demonstrated expertise in requirements understanding and analysis, and performed various testing types such as sanity, GUI, functional, system, regression, and performance testing.

Umesh started their career as a Software Testing Engineer at Pyramid Consulting from May 2011 to June 2012. In this role, they created and executed test cases using HPQC and developed test plans based on use case documents, business requirements, and functional specifications.

Umesh Kumar completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from KIIT Engineering College in Gurgaon from the year 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from DGC in Gurgaon from the year 2003 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Umesh Kumar has also obtained several certifications. Umesh completed an Agile Methodologies assessment from LinkedIn in April 2023 and Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in January 2023.
