Daniel Petroche Sánchez

Research Assistant

Daniel Petroche Sánchez is a Sustainable Solutions Specialist at Holcim Ecuador since August 2016, focusing on research and development in cement and concrete, specifically in sustainable solutions and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). Previous roles include serving as an Innovation, Development and Sustainable Solutions Technician at Holcim Innovation Center and as a Research Assistant at ESPOL. Currently, Daniel also holds positions as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil and a Research Assistant at ESPOL. International experience includes a short-term role as a Guest Researcher at the Technical University of Munich's Centre for Building Materials. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Eco-efficiency from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral and is pursuing a Doctor's degree in Civil Engineering at Universidad de Granada, along with a Bachelor of Laws at Universidad Estatal de Milagro.
