Federico Dominguez is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in computer engineering and information technology. Currently serving as a Professor and researcher at ESPOL since October 2014, Federico has a background as a PhD Candidate at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where research focused on environmental sensor networks, noise pollution sensors, and sound source localization from October 2009 to April 2014. Previous roles include Researcher in Communal Area Networks at Centro de Tecnologías de Información, where techniques were developed for wireless interconnectivity in rural schools, and Head of Technical Department at the same organization, leading IT infrastructure management.
