Freddy Jervis

Freddy Jervis is an Associate Professor at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral, where they study thermal sciences and their applications in Fire Safety Engineering. Their research focuses on multiphase transport processes, particularly fluid and heat transfer systems, with an emphasis on the mechanisms of fire propagation and environmental influence. Previously, Jervis served as an Assistant Professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito from 2013 to 2014, and they completed a PhD in Fire Protection at the University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2012, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
