Freddy Villao

Freddy Villao is a Profesor Principal at ESPOL, where they have served since 1976, contributing significantly as a titular professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and holding roles such as Advisor to the Rector, Director of the Revista FOCUS, and Director of the Unidad ESPOL TV. They previously held the position of Vicepresidente de Interconexión y Regulación at ANDINATEL S.A. in 2005 and served as Coordinador Nacional at Consejo Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) from 2000 to 2003. Freddy earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociedad de la Información from Griffith University between 2008 and 2012 and holds an Ingeniero in Electrónica from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, where they studied from 1966 to 1972.
