Rocío Baena

Rocío Baena has over 12 years of work experience in the field of software development. Their most recent position was as a Frontend Developer at Espressive, where they were responsible for the maintenance and development of the Barista app. Prior to that, they worked as a Frontend Developer at iTexico, where they designed and implemented web solutions for internal tools at Vrbo, a subdivision of Expedia. Rocío also worked as a Web Developer at Avantica, where they supported, enhanced, and developed a kiosk application used by cafeterias, hotels, and casinos. Before that, they served as a Project Lead, Scrum Master, and Software Engineer at Blue Trail Software, leading a team of developers and publishers for Symantec. Rocío started their career as a Software Engineer at Softtek and later became a Project Lead at T.I. Consulting.

Rocío Baena completed their primary education at the Instituto Tecnológico de Zacatecas from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on software development. In addition to their formal education, Rocío has also obtained certifications in the field. In December 2015, they became a certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance, and in April 2017, they achieved the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Agile Scrum Alliance™.
