Ruben Ortega

Ruben Ortega began their work experience as a Software Validation Technician at Intel Corporation in July 2011. Ruben then went on to become a SoC System Validation Engineer Intern at the same company, where they developed a test plan and executed tests for the Power Controller Unit functional area. In 2013, Ruben worked as a Software Automation Engineer at iTexico, followed by a role as an OS Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2016. Ruben then joined Ooyala in 2017 as a Software Development Engineer in Test, where they designed test plans and conducted test automation for mobile apps. Ruben then moved on to AstraZeneca in 2018 as a Senior QA Engineer, where they played a role in test content elaboration and test automation. Currently, Ruben works at Espressive as a QA Automation Engineer.

Ruben Ortega completed their education at the Universidad de Guadalajara from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería en Computación (Computer Engineering). Additionally, they earned a certification in iOS 7 UI/UX Fundamentals from iTexico in January 2014.
