Mike Sager is a best-selling author and award-winning reporter, currently serving as a Contributing Editor at Esquire since 1990 and as the Editor/Publisher of The Sager Group LLC since 2012. A former staff writer for The Washington Post under Bob Woodward, Sager has collaborated with notable figures in journalism, including Hunter S. Thompson during their tenure at Rolling Stone. Over the course of a career spanning decades, Sager has authored more than ten books and received the National Magazine Award for profile writing in 2010. Their work has inspired films, including the classic "Boogie Nights," and documentaries like ESPN's "The Todd Marinovich Project." Sager graduated from Emory University in 1978.
