Andrew Turner

Andrew Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geographic sciences and technology innovation. As the Director and CTO at the R&D Center DC at Esri, Andrew leads advancements in geographic information systems. Andrew also co-founded CrisisCommons, a non-profit organization focused on leveraging technology for crisis response. In addition, Andrew serves on the Geographic Sciences Committee at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. As an author at O'Reilly, Andrew contributes to the discourse on geospatial technologies, and as a neogeographer at HighEarthOrbit, Andrew explores new methods of geographic understanding and engagement.
