Dan Pisut

Dan Pisut is a Senior Principal Engineer and Content Lead for the Living Atlas at Esri, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive portfolio of environment-related content and fostering a user community focused on geospatial solutions for environmental issues. Prior to Esri, Dan served as the IMSG Program Manager for the NOAA Visualization Lab, managing a diverse team to enhance science and data literacy through strategic communications. Earlier roles include scientist at TBE Group, Inc., where Dan worked on ecological restoration projects for the Everglades, and various teaching positions, including Earth Sciences Teacher and Adjunct Professor. Dan holds a Master of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Sciences from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
