Gary Sankary possesses extensive experience in industry marketing strategy and retail consulting, currently holding a leadership role at Esri since January 2014, where responsibilities include spearheading retail-focused marketing efforts and providing thought leadership on GIS technology applications for retailers. Prior to Esri, Gary spent nearly 27 years at Target, serving in various capacities such as Business Development Consultant, where efforts were focused on developing a long-term technology roadmap, and Space Management Project Leader, overseeing teams that optimized space management tools. Gary’s earlier career includes roles at Mervyn's and Cost Plus Imports. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Information Studies from California State University, Chico.
