Gregory Brunner is a seasoned professional in geospatial data science, currently serving as Principal Data Scientist and Team Lead at Esri since July 2011, where supervision and mentorship of a team of technical consultants and geospatial scientists takes place. Gregory's expertise encompasses leadership roles in various projects, including the development of data quality tools and automated content assessment frameworks. An adjunct professor at Saint Louis University from January 2017 to June 2022, Gregory taught advanced programming for GIS and remote sensing, while also providing advisory support for initiatives enhancing geospatial research. With a strong foundation in physics from Rice University and The Johns Hopkins University, Gregory has actively contributed to several advisory boards and organizations, including the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, thereby fostering innovation in the geospatial field.
