Jay Merryweather

Jay Merryweather is an accomplished artist and educator with extensive experience in art and design. Serving as a Professor of Art and Design at USC and Southern Utah University, Jay also held the role of Area Head and Professor of Graphic Design during the tenure at Southern Utah University, focusing on advising, curriculum development, teaching, scheduling, and budgets. Prior experience includes a Designer and Senior Art Director position at Esri, and Professor of Visual Arts at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. Presently, Jay directs Merryweather Studios, a venture established in 1995. Educational credentials include an MFA in Interdisciplinary Design, Painting, and Installation from Claremont Graduate University, and dual BFA degrees in Drawing and Painting and Graphic Design from California State University-San Bernardino.
