Jay Theodore

Jay Theodore has extensive experience in software development and technology leadership, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Esri since July 1993. In this role, Jay leads the product development group that delivers the ArcGIS Enterprise platform, encompassing a comprehensive stack of tools including Portal, servers, and data stores. Previously, Jay held the position of Software Development Manager and Lead Architect, overseeing teams responsible for ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS. Jay's early career includes a role as Product Executive at Datalab India Pvt Ltd, where responsibilities included promoting 3D Systems' CAD-CAM printing technology in South India. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Shivaji University, along with a high school diploma focused on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from St. Bede's.
