Nicholas Bauch

Nicholas Bauch is an accomplished artist and academic with a strong background in geography and cartography. Bauch's professional experience includes roles as a Principal Cartographic Experience Designer at Esri and Section Editor for Visual Fields at NACIS. Previous positions include Artist at the University of Minnesota, where Bauch led portfolio critiques and was funded for a project exploring GIS shape files, and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Stanford University, where Bauch spearheaded a digital platform project focused on the Grand Canyon. As an Assistant Professor at both the University of Oklahoma and California State University-Los Angeles, Bauch emphasized innovative approaches to geographical research and education. Bauch holds multiple degrees including a PhD in Geography from UCLA and an MFA from the University of Minnesota.
