Peter Shipman

Peter Shipman is a Principal Project Manager at Esri, currently leading project initiatives in the tech sector. Previously, they served as a Senior Project Manager for Albemarle County, overseeing various operational and process improvement projects. With experience as a Quality Improvement Coordinator at NIBCO INC., Peter applied LEAN methodologies to drive quality enhancements and cost savings. Earlier in their career, they worked in education as a Secondary School Administrator and Teacher at Coventry Christian Schools, where they developed policies and trained faculty. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Teacher Education from Harding University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Cairn University.
